warning! ugly website! ☣️ thou shalt not pass 🧙♂️ if thou art too fancy! 🤣
learn why
... the last bit is obviously a joke. I decided, in this era of design-and-marketing fever i want my work to be presented in pure simplicity as it is. The hosting plan is the cheapest with a small space, so it's a way to save money also. I came to understanding that it's better to keep your website alive no matter what by low cost than being forced to close your fancy flying widgets from time to time due to budget redistribution. And I want it to be available from any region and place so you can go here and listen to my music even if you are at sea and you have only satellite or 2g connection. And today I like the idea of a simple website so much maybe I will keep it that way. Anyway, when I will have a steady budget I will keep the simple-based design because I believe today like never we should be focusing on actual work.

F**k Me Pumps
The most favorite thing for me in Amy Winehouse's music is her versatile rhythmic style. You might say "oh, she just using jazz concept". Well. yes and no. In jazz improvisation we omit the value of the beat, but Amy always stays around the beat but always in between. It is so captivating. And lately I even try to imitate her style when I improvise on my red electric guitar.
Do Not Drop The Child
The beat creates a strange feeling of a
swinging pace, not in a sense of the Jazz swing. I like to do experiments with rhythms and timing, so
here, though the structure of the rhythm is traditional, it doesn’t match with the pulse of the tempo, or
as we can say, with imaginable metronome. It’s rushing out a little and then it’s evening at the end of
the second bar, that is a big swing in two bars. That’s what makes it so lazy but so vivid and colorful.
Black Friday Deals You Out
So I started to work. The basic narrative was supposed to be an aggressive kick drum with a figure of shorts notes at the end of a pattern. So it was a black month of going back and forth looking for a perfect seed. And at the end of each week, each Friday deal was thrown in the garbage can.
After this martyrdom, I came up with the idea of changing the time signature to 6 of eights. I always liked this two-triplet pulse. It has so much space! Oh my god, the more genius each decision the more effort it demands to connect it with the idea.

Sci-Fi Christmas
And I reconsidered the premise - noisy synths and the synth bass align with futuristic vibe which lead me to an image of a Christmas scene in a Sci-Fi movie. I thought why there aren't many Christmas themes in Sci-Fi? The bells and the harmony creates the Xmas atmosphere. The melody is inspired by the guitar melodic style of Jeff Beck. The positive guitar chords reminds me of early albums of The Cardigans. In terms of energy, it's closer to downtempo. It's a calm walkabout with a sense of curiosity.
