Sci-Fi Christmas was made for a "brief" request from a music supervisor for a movie. Didn't work out. The scene was with a little girl of urban and energetic character walking down the streets of some sort of Santa's village at Christmas time. And I tried to incorporate this feeling of a walkabout. Many of my fans and friends who listened to it said that the music is a walkabout before I even told them the story behind. That's why I decided to release it.

 

And I reconsidered the premise - noisy synths and the synth bass align with futuristic vibe which lead me to an image of a Christmas scene in a Sci-Fi movie. I thought why there aren't many Christmas themes in Sci-Fi? The bells and the harmony creates the Xmas atmosphere. The melody is inspired by the guitar melodic style of Jeff Beck. The positive guitar chords reminds me of early albums of The Cardigans. In terms of energy, it's closer to downtempo. It's a calm walkabout with a sense of curiosity.

   My style varies from single to single. This time it's that style. I described it in the main provision of the campaign. I have another single which is different. Whether my music fits your style and vibes I will leave it for you to decide.

 

I'm a DIY recording artist. I write, record, and perform my music with my guitar (and sometimes other instruments) and loop-controller. I'm always searching an interesting sound and catchy melodies.
